Blaze stood atop the cliff, her pelt soaked to the bone and dripping unceasingly. Her audits pressed against her skull, she let out a blood curdling howl that would make anybody's hair stand on end. She stopped and looked around expectantly. So maybe I did imagine him then, she thought. With nothing else to do, she went down on her stomach and studied the forest, wanting something, anything, to happen that would catch her eye. A few birds fluttered out. Normal she thought. She could have sworn there was a white wolf next to her, but that was probably just mist. She let it slide, as her vision was blurry due to the rain. She put her head on her paws and started to close her eyes sleepily.
