An echo rises from the silence

[curse]

Echo looked apon the beautiful river. His orbs stopped at his reflection."Mother was right, I AM ugly..." he said to himself. He stood up once he hears a sound behind him. He lifted his ears and listened carefully. The sound stopped. He turned his head back to his reflection and splashed the water hatefully. "Who could love a face like this?!" he yelled. "Better get this started..." he thought. He howled and waited for something to happen.

[blaze]

So you want to join my pack? said a calm, feminine voice. A small blue flame hovered in front of Echo's maw, and it seemed to be speaking to him with each flicker.

[curse]

Echo didnt speak. He looked at the beautiful flame in amazement. "Y-Yes!" he finally choked out. He noticed that the voice was of a fae. he looked around. "Where is the Alpha of this terra?" he asked calmly.

[blaze]

Right in front of you. said the flame. It grew larger and backed away from Echo slowly. The flame reached the size of a bear and a black paw stepped out, followed by a proud, pure black fea with blood red orbits. Once she was out, the flame died instantly. She noticed the white brute and stepped toward him. To join my pack, you must complete a challenge. Do you accept? she said while staring into his orbits with a determined gaze.

[curse]

Echo nodded. "I have nothing else to do." He said.

[blaze]

Blaze questioned his determination internally with his answer, but shook it off and threw her head back to let out a high pitched howl, which lowered to a throaty growl. A falcon flew by overhead and then landed on Blaze's shoulder. It thingyed his head sideways at Echo and looked at him eerily with his yellow orbit. The falcon gave a screech. I captured this falcon a while ago. Now I must see if you can. He can't fly too high thanks to an injured wing, but do not doubt his acrobatic ability. Are you ready? she said nonchalantly.

[curse]

Echo looked confused. "Thats all?" He asked. He wanted to sound tough but he wasnt shure he could cach a falcon. He nodded and closed his eyes. He senced things better when he closed his eyes, and he knew he would need sences more than his eyes.

[blaze]

Erm...yes, that is it. Go on now, she said to the falcon, and it fluttered off and started circling around the field about four feet off of the ground.

[curse]

Echo ran after the falcon. His eyes were closed and everything was black. He sat down in the center of the field. he listened carefully to the beating of the birds wings and timed it. He counted to three then lurched up and grabbed the falcon firmly, but gently so it wasnt hurt, but also so it wouldnt get away.

[blaze]

the bird twitched, but gave up in defeat. Blaze was in shock. Nobody had ever captured the falcon that quickly, or even with their orbits shut. Enaru came to Blaze's side in a whirl of white mist and nuzzled her softly. Who's the newcomer, Blaze? he asked quietly. His name is Echo. Be nice Enaru. Blaze murmured. Although she didn't know him for very long, she still loved Enaru.

[curse]

Echo let the bird geo and opened his eyes. "how was that?"he asked.

[blaze]

She couldn't say anything at first. So Enaru spoke. Quick. Blaze gave him a hard nudge with her maw. This is Enaru. He's my brother. She could tell that Enaru was already sizing Echo up and judging him because of his looks. She really hoped the new wolf wouldn't take offense to that. What are your strengths and how do you go about overcoming your weaknesses? Enaru said bluntly.

[curse]

Echo smiled. "I have but one weekness"he said. He began to speak in a riddle. "I have one weeknes. if a am to tell you it would be my strength. If i told you my strenght it would be my weekness. I and here and i am there. I am alive and somehow dead." He finished his riddle and saw thear confused faces. "Urm...I can tell the future." he said. "Everyones but mine..."

[blaze]

Then what is in my future? Enaru didn't beat around the bush. He wanted to see if Echo could really do what he says. And tell Blaze's too Blaze only sighed. Enaru... She shook her head and looked at the floor. Enaru paid no attention to that.

[curse]

Echo paused for a moment. "You are her older brother and you are very protective. You are very straightforeward." He said "You will have a fae join your pack. You will fall in love with her.: ha paused. "I dont know who. Im not that good..." ha said shamelessly
