Raven curled up in her den, wonderingt what tomorrow would bring, and grinning as she fell asleep, rembering Cloud's antics.

Cloud couldn't stop thinking about everything that happened. He was too tired to sleep, so he sat up peacefully watching the stars.

Raven drifted off for a bit, but soon woke again, to her surprise, feeling refreshed. She went to the mouth of her den and looked up at the shimmering night sky. Her mother had once said every star was a wolf that had died. Looking at them now, she wondered about that.

Cloud thought about Raven, then finally drifted off to sleep. Without dreams, to his dismay.

Raven looked down the valley to where she knew Cloud's den was. It had been fun, that trip with him. She went back into her den and lay down again, waiting to see what tomorrow would bring.

The sunlight hit his gray pelt with it's warmth spreading through his body. Cloud got up to stretch and briskly trotted into the valley. He yawned and looked around. Everybody's still asleep?

Raven was still curled up on the skins that served her as a bed. She yawned, and shifted position. She opened her eyes as the sun glared into her den. She opened her eyes and glared out at the thing that had disturbed her rest. The sound of pawsteps caused her ears to perk.

He walked past the many dens and wondered if Raven was up. He wanted to find her, but he didn't want to seem too dependant on her. He decided to just walk around.

Raven got up, doing her best to ignore the bright light outside. She poked her head out of the den and blinked to adjust her eyes. Climbing out, she saw Cloud a little distance away and called a greeting. "Hello Cloud! Sleep ok?"

Yeah. How did you sleep? He trotted over, happy that he had a reason to talk to her.

"Like a rock." Raven said, stifling a yawn. "But it turns out rock sleeps well. How did you like border patrol yesterday? Or seeing the border, whichever you call it."

Fun. He stretched and planted himself on the ground. Looking up at the clouds, he yawned. Tiring though.

Raven chuckled. "Well, it's even more tiring when you have to go all the way around the mountain as well. That's what you have to do when Silverstream puts you on border patrol. But she's fair, she takes her shift."

Is that so? Then I should be grateful for that. His stomach gave a lurch. And maybe I should be grateful that my stomach knows how to talk. I'm gonna go catch some fish for a breakfast. Are you hungry?

Raven turned toward the valley exit. "Starving. I could eat a whole deer. She lept the final feet out. "Mind if I hunt with you?"
