Amia held on as long as she could. She felt the bear swaying back and fourth redy to fall over with defeat. She jumped off the bear, and walked over to Shadowstar, on the side with all the marks. She looked at them, and winced. As the bear fell, she looked to shadowstar, "You need to go and see Rahk." She walked over to the other side, for support, and said "Come on, lets go before another shows up."

Shadowstar pushed himself to his feet, casting an anxious glance at the dark woodlands. Shadowstar started walking towards the dens, trying not to lean too much on Amia. "How..How did you do that?" His voice sounded hoarse and raspy, strange in his own ears. "What about your leg? You-that jump-that run, how did you do it?"

Amia said "I'll feel it later....it was adrelin I guess. And something needed to be done. I pulled it out, which by the way still hurts." She watched him carfully, making sure nothing bad happened.

Shadowstar's red eyes flashed with admiration. "You should see Rhak(how is it spelled) too. That was amazing, what you did. I've never seen anything like it in a battle. Don't know what I would have done..." he trailed off, too shy to say that he owed his life to his white packmate.

(sure thing..will we have to wait for Sasha there, I guess so) Shadowstar nodded, continuing to walk in silence. They reached the border and Shadowstar plunged into the water. It was not far the mainland, and though his side burned with every stroke, he made it across without too much difficulty.

Amia swam right next to him, hoping the waves stayed low, and that he'd be ok swimming. (alright...)
